Stop by any Aromas Coffeehouse in Omaha and you’ll be greeted with a cozy atmosphere and excellent coffee. With their coffee roasting company, Hardy Coffee Co., and three locations around town one in Benson, one downtown in the Old Market, and in the new Flagship Commons, it’s easy to see why this city is in love. Bonus: Bliss Bakery is also a part of Aromas, so there’s no shortage of fresh baked treats.

Located in the Blackstone District of Midtown, Archetype has quickly become a major player in Omaha’s coffee scene. Beans are roasted in-house in small batches, so you know you’re drinking seriously fresh coffee.

3. Howlin’ Hounds

Beansmith is passionate about coffee and can be credited with helping pave the way for the Midwest specialty coffee culture. Beansmith started as a local roaster and soon after opened a shop downtown, making a pleasant addition to the Old Market.

Culprit Cafe reflects owner Luke Mabie’s love of classic bakeries and his experience as a pastry chef. The space is the perfect combination of coffee shop + bakery with coffee, espresso drinks, and lunch options made with fresh ingredients all served up in a lovely historic building downtown.

Sharing an open and welcoming space with Green Street Cycles, Mug Life Coffee Lab has become an Omaha staple when it comes to fantastic coffee shops. Their specialty lies in whipping up amazing espresso-based drinks and pairing them with local sweet treats.
